Loma on sitten ohi, maanantaina piti aloittaa työt.

***********************

Summer holidays are now over, unfortunately, and both DH and I had to go back to work on Monday. I made a desperate try and checked my lottery coupon, but somebody else took the winnings... I guess I'll get used to working again... it will just take some time...

We spent also the last days of our vacation at home, since there were no news concerning our mobile home and itse repair. On Monday we were told that they would start with it on Tuesday and on Wednesday it was fixed and ready to be picked up. DH happened to be glider flying in the sky when they called him, so I fetched the car with Lastborn. I didn't get any answer to my question of the time needed for repair in case their workload had been bad, since it took 3,5 with the load being light... Well, knowing the service level of the place we certainly won't used it ever again...

UFO drawer hasn't been opened because I got this new idea with the fabric samples that I found on the flea market at the beginning of the summer. I saw the cover of Kaffe Fassett's book "Simple Shapes Spectacular Quilts" and was hooked with one of the patterns. I didn't have the book available at the time I started the quilt, so my diamonds are smaller - I decided the size by trying to use as much of the fabric as possible. Also my strips around the diamonds are a bit wider, but I still considering wether to make the a bit narrower or not.

Anyway, the quilt will have to wait for a couple of days, as tomorrow we are heading with our mobile home to visit my relatives in Central Finland.
