No, en pahastu, vaan päinvastoin ilahdun, jos idea kelpuutetaan muillekin ompelupöydille!

Thank you once more for all who have congratulated me on winning the competition and admired my pin cushion. Some of you have even wondered if I would mind their copying my idea. Well, I don't mind, on the contrary I'd happy and honored to know that the idea will be blooming on other sewing tables as well. Cool Besides a great thanks is also in place for Eija who organised the competition and gave the original idea for the pin cushion in the first place, and as far as I know she didn't mind her idea being used either. So go ahead and develop the idea into even more! And it would naturally be nice to see what you accomplish.

Some of you might still remember my bird pin cushion Vaakku from a blog post last September, and wonder what happened to him. Well, I did try to use him as my pin cushion, but every time I stuck him with a needle I could hear a soundless, pain-filled "vaak" in my ears. I simply couldn't go on sticking him  with needles. Itku Now he has taken the role of general sewing supervisor on my sewing table, and has the sole responsibility of preserving my thimble in the basket reserved for that purpose only, so I always know where to find it.
